Streamline Graphics includes a powerful Work Order Management system that allows newsroom staff to request, track and provide feedback on required assets. Requests can include notes and supporting documents to help the graphics team understand exactly what is needed. Work orders can be assigned to a graphics artist and deadlines can be tracked with a customizable dashboard. Users can message and post comments to provide feedback or request changes. Placeholders can be added to the story in the rundown immediately and will be fulfilled when the finished asset is ingested.

Streamline Graphics is designed to be the perfect partner for Ross Video’s XPression motion graphics system. While XPression handles the graphics creation and playout, Streamline is seamlessly embedded to allow users to browse existing assets or request new ones. Organize assets using customizable metadata to quickly find and reuse images and video. Streamline is accessible directly from the XPression MOS plugin inside the newsroom computer system.

Image libraries like MGN Online and AP Graphicsbank are available from inside the Streamline Graphics user interface. Because Streamline is integrated into the XPression MOS plugin, users can browse, download and select images from these providers directly from the newsroom computer system, eliminating the need to open a separate window and remember another login. Reports can be generated to track usage of assets from these libraries and approval workflows can be added for purchases.

Both work orders and assets can be organized using folders and granular permissions can be applied at the folder level to limit access when needed. This can provide peace of mind while opening up the graphics workflow to additional users. New assets can also be put through an optional approval process to help control your on-air brand.
