Ross Video Acquires EagleEye from sec.swiss, Expands Cable Camera Portfolio

Ottawa, Canada – January 14, 2025 Ross Video, a global leader in live video production, is pleased to announce the acquisition of EagleEye from sec.swiss (swiss electronic creation GmbH). This strategic move enhances Ross’ industry leading camera motion systems portfolio with an even broader set of creative solutions and brings immersive cable camera viewpoints to more productions.

Acquisition Highlights

  • Expands Product Range: Ross customers and partners gain access to an expanded portfolio of cable-camera systems, complementing Ross’ renowned spidercam series and extending solutions to a broader range of applications.
  • Rental or Purchase Options: In addition to the spidercam rental offering, customers will have the ability to purchase systems for fixed installations, studios, and venues.
  • Manufacturing Excellence: Systems will be manufactured in Ross’ global manufacturing facility in Canada, benefitting from Ross’ robotic camera expertise and scope & scale of operation.
